This is a professionally focused programme for graduates wishing to work in the cultural and creative industries. It is oriented around a ‘live’ consultancy project with an external organisation where you will take responsibility for a consultancy-based project. The project will help resolve practical issues and problems faced by a client organisation from the creative industries and the cultural and heritage sectors.
Typically client involvement is one-two days a week over four months, with lectures scheduled on one-two days a week to allow flexibility to carry out project work. Students complete four modules, a consultancy project report, and a dissertation.
Modules • Critical Thinking • Research Theory and Methods • Contemporary Issues in the Arts and Creative Sector • Consultancy Skills and Practice • Creative Industries Placement • Dissertation
