The World Health Organisation estimated that in 2012 air pollution was associated with 7 million premature deaths worldwide. This finding more than doubles the previous estimate and confirms that air pollution is now the world's largest single environmental health risk.
As part of the MSc in Global Air Quality; Management & Science you will receive training from leading air quality and health experts, who currently advise the World Health Organisation, the UK Government and the European Commission. From them, you will gain a detailed knowledge and understanding of the contemporary theory and practice of air quality and its management.

The MSc in Global Air Quality; Management & Science combines research excellence with strong links to business and policy makers. A unique feature of the course is the coverage of all aspects of air quality from emissions, through measurement and modelling to exposure science and the impacts of air pollutants on health. An additional feature is the study of the co-benefits of climate change and air quality. The course is primarily taught with practical classes and exercises, along with a final dissertation.
