The MSc Infection Control online has been designed for nurses and other health professionals who have an infection control role in their workplace but is open to anyone with an interest in this area. The course aligns with the framework of competencies outlined by the Infection Prevention Society and will develop your expertise in several key areas of best practice. Delivered entirely online, the course gives you the flexibility to study whilst you continue to work full-time.
1. Academic Entry Route:Applicants are usually registered nurses or health care professionals in full or part-time employment with a minimum of two years post-registration experience and access to a clinical microbiology department.Applicants normally have an 2:1 Class Bachelors degree or equivalent, in a relevant subject from an internationally recognised institution.2. Open Entry Route:We recognise that many people have a wealth of valuable skills and knowledge developed at work or through training. If you don't meet the academic entry requirements, but believe you have the potential to succeed on the MSc, we consider applications on individual merit.
