Course in Nutrition for Cancer Patients


Course Description

This course is targeted to lifescience specialists that want to deepen into the nutrition in cancer from a molecular point of view. Among our teachers we find the precursor of nutrigenetics, Jose M Ordovas (Turf University, Boston) and the head of Nutrition and Diet at the MD Anderson Hospital, Pedro Robledo.

This course will provide the students the ability to establish the sinergistic effects of nutrients and cancer treatment; and thus, maximizing the therapeutic effect and mitigating the patient´s mood and physical worsening.
The course is taught in Spanish and its divided into for terms with theory and practical sessions.

Entry Requirements

The student that wish to specialize in nutrition in cancer patients that must have previous knowledge of Biology, Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing or Nutrition.
