Joint european master in Tribology of Surfaces and Interfaces - TRIBOS

Course Description

Tribology is a very interdisciplinary field dealing with the science and technology of friction, wear and lubrication. Because of its interdisciplinary and integrative character it is present in virtually all sectors of the economy.
The consortium of four partner universities: UNIVERSITY OF LJUBLJANA, SLOVENIA, UNIVERSITY OF LEEDS, UK, UNIVERSITY OF COIMBRA, PORTUGAL, AND LULEA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, SWEDEN will represent an outstanding added value to teaching of tribology and surface engineering, and will consequently have large impact on the industry, transport and energy sectors, as well as implementation of novel interface nanotechnologies, tribophysics and tribochemistry science in these fields.

Entry Requirements

A MINIMUM OF A BACHELOR DEGREE with an average grade of at least 80% (GPA) in engineering, materials science, physical sciences or chemistry. PROOF OF ENGLISH KNOWLEDGE will be required for students from non-English speaking countries. Students from non-English speaking countries are required to have obtained the IELTS or TOEFL certificate. Minimum criterias are written on www.master-tribos.eu
