This course provides an advanced academic, laboratory and research training in modern cellular and molecular immunology, with emphasis on the interface between the basic and clinical aspects of the subject.
It provides ideal training for students wishing to pursue a career in science or medicine, but the transferable skills (e.g. giving presentations, poster preparation) gained during the course can also be applied to careers outside science.
On completion of the MSc the majority of students go on to study for a PhD.

Faculty of Medicine Dean's Master's Scholarships
Applications are invited from outstanding candidates from Imperial College London, the UK and worldwide who have the potential to become leaders in their field. There are no restrictions on nationality.Five awards are available for Home/EU students and four are available for Overseas students. Successful applicants will have their tuition fees paid for by the Faculty of Medicine and will receive and additional stipend of £17,000 to cover living expenses (paid in monthly instalments). Students with evidence of outstanding academic potential are strongly urged to apply, as are other applicants with a less strong academic background but who have professional, research or voluntary experience in a relevant field.The deadline for scholarship applications is 26 April 2016.

Available to Home/EU students and Overseas students planning to study a full-time or part-time Master's course run by Imperial's Faculty of Medicine in the 2016/17 academic year.

Course entry requires a second class honours or above, or equivalent, in an appropriate biological science subject (e.g. Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences), medicine, dentistry or veterinary science.
