The Flexible Advanced Masters in Energy (FLAME) is a new concept in British postgraduate courses. It is built on the prinicple of maximum flexibility to ensure that you as a student will benefit most from it. The content ranges from the energy resources, through power generation, to energy use in industry and buildings. This can be combined with MBA business modules to provide training for recent graduates as well as for experienced and established engineers working in the industry or other organisations.
We have designed the course so that you can choose - Full-time or part-time attendance in Edinburgh or by distance-learning - An MSc, a Postgraduate Diploma, a Postgraduate Certificate, and even individual modules. - A mix of technical modules and business modules from the Edinburgh School of Business's MBA course - Modules from a broad range of Energy-related subjects
Only two modules are compulsory. The remaining optional modules cover the thematic areas of - Energy Resources - Power generation - Process Engineering - Energy in Buildings - The Environment - Safety
EPSRC studentships for full-time study for British and EU citizens are available.
