Master in European Integration


Course Description

We would like to inform You that the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law is announcing the enrollment for the seventh generation of the master students in the Master Academic Program - MASTER IN EUROPEAN INTEGRATION, Academic year 2014/2015.

Master Academic Studies - MASTER IN EUROPEAN INTEGRATION has been implemented at the Belgrade University Faculty of Law since academic year 2008/2009. This master program is granted with the National academic accreditation, as well as with the re-accreditation after the first five years of implementation, and can enroll up to 60 students each academic year. The official language of the program is English. The program is also open to foreign students. Until now, more than 50 students from 23 different countries attended this master program, both as regular master students and as Erasmus exchange program attendants.

The duration of the Master Academic Program - MASTER IN EUROPEAN INTEGRATION is 30 weeks, and it is worth 60 ECTS (MEI 60). Students must attend three mandatory/introductory courses – Introduction to the Economic System of the EU, Introduction to the Political System of the EU, Introduction to the Legal System of the EU, as well as the Practical skills course. Additionally, students opt for four courses among twenty one offered courses. Each course has been conducted in the block of classes held during five or six weeks. Each student also has an obligation to write and defend one seminar paper and master thesis.

From the academic year 2014/15, the new accreditation has been issued and achieved for the two-years-lasting master study program MASTER IN EUROPEAN INTEGRATION (MEI-120). The Curriculum and teachers are same for MEI-60 and MEI-120, and specific features of both study programs have been articulated in their basic documents, called: Main Rulebook - MEI-60, and Main Rulebook - MEI 120. Entry Requirements

The eligibility requirements for the one year MEI (60 ECTS) are a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 240 ECTS, from the law faculty or social sciences-humanities.The eligibility requirements for the two year MEI 120 ECTS are a Bachelor Degree, with at least 180 ECTS, from the law faculty or social sciences-humanities.

Course Fees

MEI-60, domestic -140.000 rsd, from the region of the Former Yugoslavia is 168.000 rsd, foreign 2.000 EUR. For MEI-120, the tuition fee is doubled
