Masters Degrees in Engineering

Masters Degrees in Engineering provide the advanced skills and training needed to work as a qualified engineer in various specialised fields. Many programmes are officially accredited, giving you the opportunity to become a registered professional.

In the UK, Masters-level Engineering programmes often award the MEng (Master of Engineering). Unlike other Masters degrees, this is a single four-year undergraduate qualification.

MSc courses in Engineering are also available. Some are specifically labelled as ‘MSc (Eng)’ programmes. They will normally require you to have completed a three-year BEng (Bachelor of Engineering).

All UK Engineering Masters qualifications must be recognised by the UK Engineering Council (ECUK) in order to grant chartered engineer status.
