A warm welcome to the University of Oulu Open Day online event!
The University of Oulu is home to around 13,800 students. Join us to learn more about the 24 English-taught Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes as well as 22 doctoral degree programmes we offer for you in a well-ranked science university with excellent facilities for studying.
We are located in the relaxed, yet urban city of Oulu, known as a high-tech hub and a future European Capital of Culture.
While residing in Oulu, you may reach the Finnish Lapland easily, since Oulu is located within two-hour drive from the Arctic circle.
What we offer for you at the event
- Meet our students and personnel during the event to ask questions about applying to the University of Oulu - next intake for bachelor's and master's studies starting in autumn 2024 will take place 3-17 January 2024.
- If you are interested in PhD level studies, you can meet the University of Oulu Graduate School staff and learn how to apply to doctoral studies. Application periods for doctoral programmes are open twice a year, January 1 - April 30 and July 1 - October 31.
- Dive into student experiences to hear why they chose Oulu, Finland.
- Learn more about our research excellence - our highly respected professionals from different study fields have short discussions for you to listen.
