Postgraduate Virtual Open Days

Our annual Virtual Open Days take place in November, where attendees have the opportunity to find out about more about their postgraduate programme of interest during live webinar sessions. Each year there are:

Webinars covering our Master's and PhD programmes, with opportunities to hear from - and live text chat with - the academic staff that teach on them
Webinars delivered by our professional services and student support staff who will outline the support available to you as a student at Edinburgh
Live panel sessions where current students and recent graduates answer your questions and share their experiences

Academic programme sessions

The majority of sessions being offered during the event are about specific postgraduate academic programmes that we offer. This is a chance for our academic staff members, including many who may be your lecturers or supervisors, to provide you with an overview of specific postgraduate programmes.

Most sessions will involve a short presentation describing the programme and will conclude with a chance for you to ask your questions to the staff. Some sessions may focus on a specific Masters or PhD programme, while others may highlight the entire portfolio that the School has to offer. The booking form allows you to filter by subject area.
