We are a lively, friendly and supportive school. Our aim is to provide our graduates, who come from all parts of the world, with the skills and knowledge that will make them valuable contributors to the information industry. We believe that our environment helps to produce confident and highly employable graduates.

This covered work in the Artificial Intelligence, Parallel and Distributed Systems and Healthcare Modelling & Informatics. Twenty-five per cent of our work was judged to be ‘internationally excellent or world-leading’, with 65 per cent of international standing, reflecting the quality and industrial significance of the submission.

Some staff also submitted their work under Business and Management Studies (UOA36) and others under Mechanical, Aeronautical and Manufacturing Engineering (UOA 28), to cover work in the Information Systems and Systems Engineering.
