Aberystwyth University’s Masters in Practising Human Geography is specifically designed to provide you with the knowledge, skills and competencies required of an advanced, professionally trained researcher specialising in Human Geography.
The Geography PGCE programme will develop the professional skills students need to teach geography, as well as developing their knowledge of contemporary issues in geography education, and an understanding of how to support effective learning for all pupils in the 11–16 age range.
The MA Education (Geography) will increase a student's understanding of the literature and concepts of geography education, while advancing their professional skills and developing their knowledge for successful subject leadership.
