We've been helping students find the right postgraduate course for over a decade.
The UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics offers coordinated undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in all aspects of Mathematics, Mathematical Physics, Computational Science, Meteorology, Statistics and Actuarial Science.
The members of the School have outstanding international records of excellence in research across the Mathematical Sciences: Algebra and Analysis, including the Mathematics underpinning communications theory, Physical Applied Mathematics (Fluid Dynamics, Meteorology, Theoretical Physics…) and Non-Physical Applied Mathematics (ICT, Biological, Financial etc.), Statistics (Biostatistics, Environmental Statistics, Epidemiology…) and Actuarial Sciences. As is clear from this list, the importance of the Mathematical Sciences continue to grow both in depth and in breadth; progress in science, in all its aspects, requires close involvement of the mathematical core; new science and new mathematics go hand in hand.
