The Master of Science in Commodity Trading

(former Master of Arts in International Trading, Commodity Finance and Shipping) was created in 2008 with professionals through the Swiss Trading and Shipping Association, this unique academic programme has been designed to respond to a need identified by Geneva’s commodity trading, commodity finance, and shipping community itself.

Developed with professionals

this innovative academic program for young students with a Bachelor Degree is conducted to best fit in with the demands of the commodity trading industry.

From 2018, Students will have to secure a part-time traineeship linked to Commodity Trading and in Switzerland as of the first semester in order to start the master.

The Master is designed for young students with a Bachelor degree with no or less than 3 years of work experience.

If you have more than 3 years of work experience, in any field of expertise, you can apply to the Diploma of Advanced Studies in Commodity Trading (DAS). You will find more information on the website by clicking here.

The Master in Commodity Trading, created in conjunction with the Swiss Trading and Shipping Association (STSA), is founded on the principle of a strong coordination between academia and the commodity trading industry. This partnership reflects the desire to create a highly specialized academic programme for people wanting to work while studying, in the trading field, in Geneva.
