Tourism is the fastest growing industry in today’s business world and companies continue to require academically qualified managers to afford them an insight into the industry. This major explores the theories, practices and business models that make up the tourism and leisure field. Focusing on the development of executive skills and strategic aptitudes, this program will deliver the key competencies required in the industry while developing your understanding of international and intercultural management needs.

Course structure

The MBA in Leisure & Tourism program lasts one year, divided into three terms. Each term students complete five courses, including industrial visits and guest speaker sessions. In order to graduate, students must complete a management research methods module and a dissertation subject in addition to the other courses.

Modern companies require academically qualified, visionary leaders to create new business models and understand changes in technology and consumer trends. Focusing on the development of executive skills and strategic aptitudes, this program explores the theories, practices and frameworks that make up the tourism and hospitality field, while developing your understanding of international and intercultural management needs.

How You Earn Your Certificate 

The Master in Tourism & Hospitality Management (60 ECTS) is a one-year program, divided into three terms. Each term comprises four courses (4 ECTS each) and one seminar (2 ECTS). Throughout the year, students are also exposed to real-life case studies, games and business simulations. In order to graduate, participants must also complete a business plan (6 ECTS).

IMF Business School and the Hotel Technological Institute (ITH), in collaboration with the Camilo José Cela University, are launching the Master in Innovation and Digital Tourism Marketing. The objective of this master's degree students prepare for digital transformation of the sector, incorporating new technologies into their businesses or projects.
