Companies now have more options than ever to promote their products and brands. Practical knowledge of design, current trends and how they affect corporate practices is quickly becoming a key component of running a successful organization. Through this program, you will gain a general understanding of design history and esthetics while learning how to best apply them to business and productive management practices.

Course structure

The MBA in design management program lasts one year, divided into three terms. Each term students complete five courses, including industrial visits and guest speaker sessions. In order to graduate, students must complete a final management methods research module and a dissertation subject in addition to the other courses.

With elements such as advertisement strategy, communication skills and innovative thinking, you are given an in-depth insight into how to effectively manage and position a unique brand.

How You Earn Your Certificate

The Master in Fashion & Luxury Business (60 ECTS) is a one-year program divided into three terms. Each term comprises four courses (4 ECTS each) and one seminar (2 ECTS). Throughout the year, students are also exposed to real-life case studies, games and business simulations. In order to graduate, participants must also complete a business plan (6 ECTS).

Learning Outcomes

In addition to industry-specific modules, the program focuses on development strategies and management styles specifically geared towards creating leaders in the industry who can also apply the same skills to the wider commercial market. Students will:

  1. Investigate the impact of fashion and luxury in a sustainable industry.
  2. Learn about the brand value from the point of view of the fashion designer and as an artist.
  3. Be concerned with the quality of the product and all the strategies surrounding this.
  4. Study the major processes within marketing through case studies and class discussion.
