We've been helping students find the right postgraduate course for over a decade.
We are a broad-based, vibrant and growing School of scholars, all of whom are active in research and publication. Our interests include political theory and thought, contemporary British politics, European politics (East and West), Latin American politics, nationalism, the politics of the Middle East, conflict management and regime transition, the politics of democratisation, political communication and media policy, environmental politics, migration, public policy and political economy, and international relations.
We offer postgraduate programmes in International Relations, International Public Policy, Public Policy, British Politics and joint programme MSc International Business and Politics.
The School provides close supervision and monitoring of our research students, who are part of an intellectually challenging and stimulating environment, in which they have opportunities for interaction with other students and staff across the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences which itself has an excellent research track record. As a student you are welcome to attend the variety of events and seminars held within the School.
