The School of Food Science and Nutrition has always been a leader in the teaching of food science. It has built up a reputation over more than forty years as one of the world's leading institutions at which to study this subject.
We were ranked 2nd in the UK for Agriculture, forestry and food by the Guardian University Guide 2022, and among the top 50 in the world for Food Science and Technology, ShanghaiRanking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2022.
