We've been helping students find the right postgraduate course for over a decade.
The School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences is located at Nottingham Trent University’s Brackenhurst Campus approximately 14 miles outside of Nottingham. Brackenhurst Campus is the perfect outdoor classroom – a 200-hectare farm and woodland estate provides the perfect learning environment to compliment your studies.
We’ve invested over £20 million into our facilities at Brackenhurst Campus, with further developments currently underway, creating specialist learning environments for our courses. You’ll have access to fully equipped labs and our Eco-Library, as well as our purpose-built Animal Unit, Veterinary Nursing Centre, Equestrian Centre, a high-tech glasshouse, poultry unit and working farm.
We’re an international university, with staff, students and researchers from over 100 countries. We also have strong links with relevant industry organisations from around the world, including the International Society for Equine Science, Conservation Research Africa, Mankwe Wildlife Reserve (South Africa), the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA), Durrell Conservation Academy (Jersey and Mauritius).
