Jacobs University is a private, English language university located in Bremen and one of the most international academic institutions in Germany. It attracts highly talented and open-minded students from all over the world. More than 1,300 students from over 100 nations currently live and study on our residential campus. In Germany’s most comprehensive and detailed university ranking by the Center for Higher Education (CHE), Jacobs University has consistently achieved top marks since its first participation in 2005.
Founded in 2001, Jacobs University offers a broad spectrum of bachelor, master and PhD degree programs ranging from the natural sciences and engineering to the social sciences and economics. The master degree portfolio of Jacobs University includes the the MSc in Data Engineering, the bilingual MSc in Psychology and the MSc in Supply Chain Management.
At Jacobs University, class sizes are small, and for each student a professor acts as a personal mentor and academic advisor. In research and teaching, our faculty members follow a transdisciplinary approach addressing issues from multiple perspectives. On a campus where the whole world is at home, we provide an education that transcends disciplines and cultural boundaries. Campus Life and Accommodation
Jacobs University’s green and tree-shaded campus provides much more than buildings for teaching and research. It is home to an intercultural community which is unprecedented in Europe. A Student Activities Center, various sports facilities, a music studio, a student-run café/bar, concert venues and our Interfaith House ensure that you will always have something interesting to do.
For graduate students who would like to live on campus, Jacobs University offers accommodation in four residential colleges. Each college has its own dining room, recreational lounge, study areas, and common and group meeting rooms. Room and board is € 500 per month.
