PHBS offers both full-time English MBA program and part-time Chinese MBA program, and combines general management theory, deep understanding of global business, and aims to help students develop effective management skills and insights.

The academic year consists of two semesters, with two modules each. Each module runs for nine weeks. In addition, the faculty members have earned their PhD degrees from top-ranked universities over the world, and all courses are instructed exclusively in English. 

Curriculum

PHBS two-year MBA programs can be either English-taught and full-time MBA with weekday classes or Chinese-taught part-time MBA with weekend classes for those currently working to be able to continue their employment uninterrupted. The faculty members have earned their PhD degrees from top-ranked universities over the world, and have worked in major companies all over the world, bringing their real-world experience to the classroom. Courses include: Managerial Economics, Business Statistics, China and World Economy, Financial Accounting, Organizational Behavior, Business Communications, Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship, etc.

Program Objectives

Programs provide top-quality management education for students with an innovative spirit in economics, management, and finance fields covering general management theory framed in an international context for deep understanding of today’s global business arena.

This program provides specialist training in economics, modern theories, application and methodologies. The PHBS Master of Economics has been granted EPAS accreditation by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). The curriculum is very quantitative based and requires students to have a very high level of mathematical skills.

Courses include: Advanced Macroeconomics, Advanced Microeconomics, Applied Econometrics, General and Business Chinese, as well as elective courses.
