What’s it like to study a Masters in Paris?

As a Masters student in Paris you’ll live and study in one of the world’s most popular tourist cities, surrounded by famous monuments such as the cathedral of Notre Dame, the Louvre Museum and Art Gallery and, of course, the Eiffel Tower. The inside-out Pompidou Centre houses a cutting-edge collection of contemporary art, while the steps up to the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur offer stunning views of the city.

Paris is home to many renowned libraries and bookshops, offering plenty for you to contemplate whilst relaxing in street cafes or along the banks of the Seine. Shakespeare and Company is perhaps the most famous English-language bookshop in Paris, a bohemian haunt for the likes of James Baldwin and Anaïs Nin, and a literary destination to this day.

Movement around the city is made easy by the Paris Metro underground railway system whilst international airports such as Charles de Gaulle enable journeys to destinations further afield. And, yes, there’s also the chance to visit the nearby Disneyland Paris resort (for research into contemporary media and tourism, obviously).
