Mathematics is as an integral part of engineering, but also provides solutions in computing, finance, business and health. Our staff work in integrated teams, covering a range of subject disciplines, to deliver programmes of research and study that aim to challenge, enthuse and stimulate students, providing them with the best possible positioning for their future careers.

The Department of Engineering Design and Mathematics offers a number of courses that can lead to a Masters by Research, Masters in Science (MSc), Postgraduate Diploma or Postgraduate Certificate. This flexibility caters for those who wish to continue their studies while remaining in full-time employment, as well as for those looking to further their qualifications on a full-time basis.
