Clinical Embryology is the branch of medicine that deals with the development and care of embryos and foetuses. By studying a Masters in Clinical Embryology, you’ll gain an in-depth understanding of human development and reproduction, as well as knowledge of the causes of infertility and methods of assisted reproduction.

Postgraduate students will also learn about techniques for embryo micromanipulation and in vitro fertilisation (IVF), along with the ethical issues surrounding Clinical Embryology.

Other topics you may explore during a Masters in Clinical Embryology include the anatomy and physiology of the reproductive system, embryo culture and Cryobiology.

Most courses are taught via a combination of lectures, seminars and laboratory sessions, giving Masters students the chance to take part in theoretical and practical learning.
