Despite its rural location, Wageningen still offers rich cultural and social opportunities, with a selection student clubs, bars, restaurant theatres and cinemas.

Wageningen has many museums to visit, including the Airborne Museum Hartenstein, De Casteelse Poort Museum, the Het Depot sculpture gallery, the Kröller-Müller Museum and sculpture garden, and the Netherlands Open Air Museum.
