The ALBA Graduate Business School at The American College of Greece has partnered with the University of Reading, School of Law to enable students to complete two graduate degree programs in 16 months.

Participants of the Double Masters program will study for the MSc in Business for Lawyers at ALBA and one of the LLM programs offered by the Law School of the University of Reading.

The MSc in Business for Lawyers enables legal professionals to gain a solid theoretical understanding as well as a practical approach to economic and financial issues related to the day-to day operations of a business firm. The Program provides a unique learning experience that promotes collaboration and leadership competencies in an interdisciplinary curriculum.

This 10/12 month program seeks to address the needs of the rapidly evolving, highly competitive and capital-intensive shipping industry by bringing the gap between academic theory and business practice. Those needs have led to increase demand from ship-owning and transportation companies, ship broking firms, shipping divisions of investment funds, among others of personnel with shipping specific, practical financial management skills and knowledge. 

It is delivered by the ICMA Centre at Henley Business School, University of Reading, in the UK and ALBA Graduate Business School in Greece.

Program Structure

The Master’s Program Curriculum is equivalent to 75 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credit units. The curriculum includes twelve course or thirteen units (5 ECTS credits each), depending on the specialization attended.
