We've been helping students find the right postgraduate course for over a decade.
Offering the high-tech facilities of bustling cities like Kuala Lumpur against a backdrop of ancient rainforest and beautiful tourist beaches, Malaysia is an exciting study abroad destination. Most importantly, a Masters in Malaysia means studying at innovative universities with an expanding portfolio of international degree programs.
If postgraduate study abroad is about unique opportunities for excellent education in exciting settings then Malaysia is an ideal destination for Masters students. A rapidly growing 'Asian tiger' economy has seen substantial investment in Malaysian universities. Many now offer high-tech research and training facilities, enhancing their appeal to science and engineering postgraduates.
Of course, Malaysia's vibrant South-Asian history and culture also makes it an excellent setting for arts and humanities students, whilst the country's economic power offers great insights and development opportunities for forward-thinking business and management graduates.
Whatever you study on a Masters in Malaysia you'll have an enviable experience living in a beautiful sub-tropical setting, with plenty to see and do whilst taking a break from your degree.
Over 60,000 international students study in Malaysia, making it one of the world's fastest growing education hubs.
Malaysia Masters degrees are organised into semesters, rather than academic years. In practice most take between one and three years to complete, depending on the complexity and intensity of the course.
Postgraduate tuition fees in Malaysia vary quite considerably. Some programmes cost as little as MYR 1,800 (approximately $450) per year. Others may be as much as MYR 25,000 (approximately $6,340).
Sometimes, yet. Universities are offering increasing numbers of English-language Masters programmes in Malaysia, but you should check language requirements for individual courses before you apply.
International students will require a student pass (effectively a visa) to study in Malaysia. Universities will be able to advise you on the best ways to apply according to your circumstances.
