This programme, which is run by the Department of Special Education, admits 50 qualified teachers including Learning Support Teachers, and Resource Teachers in Primary and Post-Primary schools, teachers in Special Schools, and teachers employed by VECs as literacy and/or numeracy tutors in Youthreach, Community Projects or in the Prison Service who meet the criteria in the annual Circular.
