Why Study Accounting & Finance Management at Griffith College

Our MSc in Accounting & Finance Management programme is available on either a full or part-time basis over a 1-Year period and aims to prepare graduates for careers in International Accounting and Finance Management.

• Students will advance their functional management competencies in finance and accounting.

Academic Progression

On completion of the Level, 9 MSc in Accounting & Finance Management students may progress onto a range of Level 10 Doctoral programmes on the National Qualifications Framework. This programme is designed for students with a quantitative background who want to explore how financial tools can be used to mitigate risk for corporations and society. Students learn how to interpret and assess the risk of individual financial instruments and assets, while critiquing modern finance from a risk perspective.

Programme Information

Industry professionals, practitioners and consultants from around the world teach students how to forecast, react and minimalise risk within their chosen field. Throughout the programme, students will learn about the three pillars of risk that influence industries across the globe: Market Risk, Credit Risk andd Operational Risk. Students will also be trained on Bloomberg to achieve certification.

The programme also prepares students for the FRM examinations. FRM is the globally recognised professional designation for financial risk managers, giving students a competitive advantage in the global marketplace. Trinity College is also a partner of the Professional Risk Managers’ International Association, one of the world’s leading risk management bodies.

Canary Wharf Internship

The highest performing student in behavioural trading will earn a trip to Canary Wharf in London, where they will learn from trading practitioners in a live environment and gain unprecedented experience to move forward in their career.
