University of Bedfordshire

The University of Bedfordshire is a modern, innovative university with a heritage of top quality education. The University continues to invest in state-of-the-art facilities to enhance your learning and provide you with an outstanding and fulfilling student experience. In 2016 our purpose-built, seven-storey library opened at our Luton campus. This followed our Gateway building at our Bedford campus, and on-campus gyms at both Luton and Bedford in 2015. Our new STEM building (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), has just opened in September 2019 at our Luton campus.

Master's Courses

Postgraduate study allows you to develop highly sought after transferable skills, and get a head-start over your peers in an increasingly competitive job market.

Our academics are research leaders, with many submitting research that is recognised as “internationally excellent” and “world leading” (Research Excellence Framework 2014). Our academics identify and nurture talent, not only passing on their knowledge and expertise in engaging and interactive ways, but by coaching and providing a creative environment for expert debate and discussion.

The advantages of studying at the University of Bedfordshire have never been greater. Take a look at the courses we offer, and visit us at one of our Open Days to speak to our expert academics and support staff, and take a tour of our facilities.

University of Bedfordshire Postgraduate

More than a degree

With 91% of our graduates in work and/or further study within six months of graduating (DLHE 2018), the University prepares you for the world of work with a vast range of opportunities available. Our Student Internship Scheme enables you to gain real-life, industry experience alongside your studies and our Get Active programme gives you the opportunity to get involved in a large variety of sports across our Luton and Bedford campuses in a fun and social environment.

With excellent transport links to London and the rest of the UK, our campuses offer the perfect blend of culture, entertainment and charming surroundings without the capital costs.

  • Our Luton campus is situated in the heart of the town centre, whereas our smaller teaching site, Putteridge Bury, is close by in the countryside
  • The Bedford campus is a short bus ride (approximately five minutes) from the town centre and a short walk from the Aspects Leisure Centre
  • Home to many of our Nursing students, the Aylesbury campus is situated in the Medieval county town of Aylesbury
  • Our Milton Keynes campus is based in the heart of Milton Keynes, offering a blend of culture, clubs and international cuisine

As a postgraduate student, there are many housing options available to you at our Luton and Bedford campuses where you can make yourself right at home. There are two dedicated "quiet areas" for postgraduate students, and students over 25, at our Luton campus.
