International PGT scholarship

We offer various scholarships for international students which aim to reward excellence and promote diversity among our student body. Based on our data, nearly 30% of our undergraduate students and over 40% of our postgraduate students were awarded scholarships for their entry. Once enrolled, current students are eligible for additional merit and/or performance-based scholarships and awards which covers approximately 32.5% of our whole student body.

What are the entry requirements?

The University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) is home to students from over 70 countries and regions worldwide. We look at both academic and English language proficiency of applicants. Check HERE to find the entry requirements of your country. If your country is not listed, please email us at Admissions@nottingham.edu.cn

How do I apply?

Please check HERE for the list of required application documents and procedure. Application to the University of Nottingham Ningbo China can be made before you have completed your study. You may use the transcripts till now to apply for and the university will be able to assess based on what’s available. If you haven’t finished your study yet, a conditional offer may be issued pending on your final grades/degree. Once ready, please submit your application on our Online Application System. Email or post applications are not accepted.

Are scholarships available at University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC)? How do I apply?

We offer entry-based scholarships to award exceptional degree programme applicants. You could submit your scholarship application on the same Online Application System. Check HERE for the scholarship list and more details. Additionally, there are total 25 postgraduate programmes at UNNC, 18 for Taught and 7 for Research.

What’s the tuition fee?

For 2024 September entry, the tuition fees for international students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels are 110,000 RMB per year (100,000 RMB for HMT students). Please note that tuition fee for MSc International Business (Supply Chain Management) is 150,000 RMB per year.

What’s the English Test requirement?

If English isn't your first language, you will need to submit the relevant English language proficiency test report and meet the requirements. We accept IELTS, TOEFL (iBT), PTE and alternative equivalencies. For the English requirement for master programmes, please check HERE. What’s the accommodation fee?

UNNC provides 2 types of accommodation for international students (2023 entry for reference). Building 11: single room with private toilet and shower room; Building 20: four-bedroom flat. Please check HERE for each type’s accommodation fee and more details.
