The Masters programme Arts and Cultural Management is an innovative English-language, distance-learning cultural management programme run by the Leuphana Professional School in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut. The programme trains cultural professionals from all over the world to deal with transformation processes in the culture sector. The Masters includes a total of two block seminars in Lüneburg but otherwise runs online. An e-tutor and the programme coordinator support students during the online blocks.

The quality seal of FIBAA – Foundation for International Business Administration, a body recognised by the Federal Republic of Germany’s Accreditation Council, confirms that the MBA programme meets the international quality standards as set out in the European MBA Guidelines.

Programme schedule

The Berlin Part-Time MBA starts annually in October. It takes 24 months and is held in English. Study visits to partner universities in the UK and the USA are offered.The seminar styles of the classes encourage lively discussions, support rapid learning in subjects aligned with professional needs, and build on every students’ work experience. Modules are accompanied by assessments, e. g. presentations, written exams or project reports and term papers. After successfully completing all the courses and the Master's thesis, students are awarded 90 ECTS Credit Points in accordance with the European Credit Transfer System.

Programme design

The Berlin MBA programme is divided into three sections: traditional general management core modules, specific electiv modules and Master's thesis. Individual interests can be pursued in our wide range of electiv modules and integrated study visits.
