Geography and Environment Geography and Environment We offer a range of courses, as well as opportunities to join our wider research community as part of the School of Social Sciences and Humanities. As the integrated study of landscapes, peoples, places and environments, Geography is a vital subject through which to increase understanding of our rapidly changing planet. Our graduates are highly employable. Employability skills are embedded throughout our programmes, with graduates appointed to posts across a full range of industries and sectors. Each programme includes training and support to develop the key transferable skills and attributes required to continue into careers across the full range of industries and sectors. On completion of their programme, many of our postgraduates have continued into roles with government agencies, not-for-profit organisations, the European Commission and the United Nations. We have over 30 academic staff who are all leading international experts in their fields.
