The International MBA (IMBA) is aimed at young managers with the potential of being global business leaders.

The program would equip them with an in-depth understanding of the European business context and build the skills necessary to excel in complex international settings in top management positions or to start their own entrepreneurship venture.

The IMBA program design combines theoretical understanding with practical experience and skill building.

Program Advantages:
- Campus located at the heart of the largest business district in Europe: Paris La Défense
- A wide range of electives to tailor the program to your need
- Personalized coaching with the Talent program for lifetime career management

Career opportunities:
- The Corporate Relations Department organize various events. Corporate talks, on-campus recruitment sessions, and Career Fairs provide networking opportunities. Online job listings provides additional sources for management positions..

Program

The International MBA is a 1-year full-time program. The curriculum lays a strong foundation of theoretical knowledge, which participants will learn to apply in various practical contexts.

Throughout the IMBA, the faculty adopts a thorough and practical approach using cases and real-life examples to apply concepts to solve business issues.

Participants are required to work on cases and/or group projects for each course. Faculty members foster interactions in the classroom – participants learn from each other’s experiences and are trained to develop and defend their opinions.

IMBA Curriculum -

There are two semesters of course work. An internship, thesis, or consulting project finish the program.

Professional Development Support

The IMBA program provides participants with the tools to develop your skills, knowledge, and expertise for their next professional challenge. Alongside their peers they will receive guidance through small-group workshops and interactions with corporate professionals. On a personal level, accredited coaches and tutors will support them throughout, using a program developed to meet their specific needs. Coaches will use proven tools and techniques to prepare participants, not only for their next position, but for their entire career.

The IÉSEG Talent Program is available to support IMBA candidates as they prepare for the post-MBA recruitment process. Professionals from various firms in talent-acquisition will discuss their work, their recruitment processes, and the type of profile that gets noticed. Next, professionals will give workshops to help participants prepare the first steps in the recruitment process: identification of skills and experience, refinement of their 'elevator pitch', an explanation of networking options, preparation for tests and assessments, and a review of cover letters and CVs in both French and English. One-to-one mock interviews and training sessions will provide practice for participants for recruitment sessions in March. The Talent Program team will support IMBA participants throughout the year to ensure they maximize the impact of their unique talents and skills in the recruitment process.

Testimonials

"Choosing to pursue the IMBA from IÉSEG is one of the best and smartest decisions I have ever made. As an American, I decided to further my education in Europe in order to gain a holistic perspective on business, as I would like to work in a global company after finishing my studies. I chose IÉSEG in particular for its prominent location and positive reputation regarding their programs and international focus. This program has given me the invaluable opportunity to not only work with, but learn from peers and professors from all over the world. IÉSEG also has a strong career support program; part of which enables us to meet with top business executives. Thanks to that program, I was able to secure a post-coursework internship here in Paris at a global, billion-dollar French company early on in the year. My experience here so far has been everything I imagined and more. Not only have I learned more than I thought possible in one year, but I have also been exposed to a new culture, a new language, and have met the most wonderful people."

"I chose IÉSEG for many reasons. I know that IÉSEG provides an excellent education for its students, as evidenced by its EQUIS and AACSB accreditations. I was also confident in the quality of education at IÉSEG, as it is a partner school of the Ateneo de Manila University, my alma mater in the Philippines. Moreover, I was very much attracted to IÉSEG’s MSc in Finance course, which includes Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters training — these modules, along with the other MSc in Finance classes, are perfect for the kind of career I am interested in pursuing (research or portfolio management). What’s more, the IÉSEG community is full of international students and faculty, and for me, studying in an international setting is key to being a world-class individual. Finally, what makes IÉSEG the perfect choice is that it has a campus right in Paris, so studying here means that you will live at the heart of one of the most beautiful cities — and countries! — in the world."

Success in a global economic environment requires the combination of academic competence and an active professional network; by studying in an international business hub we will have the invaluable opportunity to make those professional connections on a daily basis. I am excited to join IÉSEG and look forward to benefiting from its future growth while also giving back in whatever possible way I can."
