The School of Geography is ranked 10th in the world for Geography in the ShanghaiRanking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects for 2022. Our academics are internationally renowned and working at the top of their fields – at the forefront of knowledge and thinking, we disseminate cutting edge knowledge and research on topics as diverse as tropical ecology, social inclusion and city futures. We offer an excellent student experience; 89% student satisfaction for Human Geography, 85% for Physical Geographical Sciences, and 83% for Planning (urban, rural and regional) in the National Student Survey 2020.
