Description:
This program is designed for students who already master the French language and wish to take their experience and knowledge one step further. Introduction and advanced courses span will cover the linguistic and cultural aspects.

Students will gain in‐depth knowledge of the French environment, improve their writing and oral skills and learn to evolve confidently and efficiently in a professional French environment.

Career Prospects:
Graduates will be able to apply for positions in the publishing industry, in education, tourism, foreign languages (translator, interpreter) and key communication positions in international organizations.

Methodology:
The program follows two roads: one focused on introductory courses in language (grammar, translation) and generic courses in French civilization; and another more specific road focusing on the particular aspects of French culture and society.

Students must write a thesis, which is a 30 to 40-page paper on a topic selcted by the student and subject to approval. Students are encouraged to make a proposal during their first term. The thesis is a creative or research-based document entirely written in French.
