Scholarships and Funding

The Tercentenary International Masters Scholarship

The School of Chemistry will offer one full fee scholarship for students starting a full-time taught MSc Programme in the 2020–2021 academic session. The Tercentenary International Masters Scholarship is available for students from outside the UK and EU, and will have a value of £30,300 covering your tuition fees.

UK/EU Masters Scholarships

The School of Chemistry will offer two Chemistry UK/EU Masters Scholarships, each with a value of £5,000 covering part of the UK/EU fees for eligible Chemistry masters students commencing study in September 2020. The Chemistry UK/EU Masters Scholarships help outstanding postgraduate taught masters students from the United Kingdom and European Union to study in the School of Chemistry by providing for some of the costs of their training.

All School of Chemistry scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit with candidates requiring the equivalent of a first-class honours degree or upper second-class honours degree from a recognised university or institution. Non-native English Language speakers must meet the University entry requirements. Further details can be found on our website.
