New MA courses for 2019

BIMM is delighted to announce the addition of two innovative Masters Degrees to its already varied range of courses. We offer Popular Music Practice (MA PMP) at London and Learning & Teaching in Creative industries (MA LTCI) at Brighton. Our Masters courses are the highest level of qualification available at BIMM and the best choice if you want to build on your existing bachelor’s degree or professional experience.

Our two Masters Degrees are also flexible. Options include two years part-time for working professionals, or one year full-time for those interested in accelerated learning.

The Learning & Teaching in Creative Industries MA is perfect if you’re looking to enter into a teaching career for the first time or if you’re an experienced educator wanting to broaden your knowledge and skills within the field of creative arts education at Further Education and Higher Education levels.

The MA programme will take a person-centred approach and include a balance of expert tuition, experiential workshops and self-guided study. You will learn to analyse your key interests, beliefs and values to expand knowledge in areas such as:

Progression

Graduates will be qualified to work as teaching practitioners, administrators and leaders in creative arts institutions at Further Education and Higher Education levels. They will also be able to use the course to further self-employed careers such as one-to-one teaching, creative workshops, curriculum consultation or developmental coaching.
