The Faculty of Education, Health and Human Sciences transforms the lives of students by providing an education enabling them to become creative and confident contributors to society. We are dedicated to impactful research and inspirational learning that combines teaching with work placements.

We have a strong focus on professional and workforce development, with long-established and extensive partnerships across a wide range of professional sectors. From social work to psychology, midwifery to mental health and early years to higher education, we are committed to delivering an academically challenging experience that provides a sound foundation for practice. This is backed by a research culture which addresses real-world issues and identifies interventions that have a positive impact on peoples' lives.

The Institute for Lifecourse Development brings all of our professions and disciplines together under one umbrella, to address the challenges people face at different points in their lives.

We are based across the historic Greenwich campus and our Avery Hill Campuses. We have strong connections to local NHS trusts, schools and health and social care providers.
