This MRes is ideal for you if you have a strong academic record in neuroscience and plan to pursue a research career. This MRes will enable you to understand the causes, effects and ultimate explanations for the evolution of animal behaviour. You’ll develop an advanced knowledge and practical research skills in animal behaviour, which will put you in a strong position to move on to a PhD or a research career.

This MRes is based on our strengths in evolutionary biology. You’ll study how and why organisms are the way they are, and how this affects fundamental parts of our lives. You’ll become a researcher who can contribute to the grand challenges of antibiotic resistance, cancer and environmental change.
