We've been helping students find the right postgraduate course for over a decade.
The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) is a world-leading centre for research and postgraduate education in public and global health, with a mission to improve health worldwide.
Whether you are interested in medicine, lab science, public health, population studies or emerging diseases, the School's study programmes will prepare you to tackle present and future health challenges.
From flu to malaria to HIV/AIDS: wherever we are, we are confronted by infectious diseases. Emerging zoonotic diseases such as Ebola or Zika are making the headlines more frequently and there is an increased need for health workers with the right set of skills to help prevent and control future outbreaks.
Our Master's programmes including One Health, Medical Microbiology, Medical Parasitology, Medical Entomology for Disease Control, Immunology of Infectious Diseases and Control of Infectious Diseases will help you understand what causes diseases, how they spread and how we can control and prevent them.
We also have a large public health programme offered in London or by distance learning, allowing students to specialise in various areas such as environment, health services management, health promotion or health economics. Other public health master's on offer include the MSc Health Policy, Planning and Financing (run with LSE) and Public Health for Development.
