School of Culture and Creative Arts, University of Glasgow.

Since 1451 we have specialised in the arts and humanities, developing wide-ranging expertise and world-leading research. Whether you are looking for a change of direction, to build on your current knowledge and skills, or interested in an academic career, our programmes have been developed to meet the needs of your future employers.

The University of Glasgow is ranked in the world’s top 100 for Arts & Humanities. Our Postgraduate taught degrees are taught one-year full-time (two-years part-time), and start in September. We have developed strong local, national and international connections with arts and heritage organisations. We use these relationships to support teaching through masters classes and guest lecturers and to develop credit bearing work placements.

City of Glasgow

Glasgow is a great city to study Arts & Humanities.

You will have access to world class libraries and museums, as well as the extraordinary diversity of cultural, literary and artistic events that makes Glasgow such a vibrant place for postgraduate study.

The University is home to Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery and the Library’s Special Collections. Special Collections is one of the foremost resources in Scotland for academic research and teaching. We are home to over 200,000 manuscript items and around 200,000 printed works (1,000 of which are incunabula, printed before 1501). Our holdings of medieval and renaissance manuscripts, and emblem literature, are of international importance. The collections span over 2000 years of human activity, from the first to the twenty-first centuries.
