Academic requirements

A 2:1 honours degree or international equivalent. Some of our Masters’ courses have specific subject requirements.

English language requirements

You will need a good level of written and spoken English to study at Newcastle and should be able to demonstrate your proficiency.

If your first language is not English you can demonstrate your English language ability taking IELTS or an alternative test. For IELTS we required IELTS 6.5 overall with at least 6.0 in all sub-skills
