Prepare for a challenging international career in a globalized world

In 2018, the University of Bordeaux launched its “Graduate Research School”, in order to coordinate, strengthen and promote doctoral studies along with partner research organizations. Amongst its activities, this Graduate Research school features three “Graduate Programs” founded on specific disciplines where Bordeaux has achieved international levels of excellence in terms of education and research. The new graduate programs are based on a student-centered approach to education, and are driven by cutting-edge research in the emerging fields of digital public health, photonics and neurosciences.

These graduate programs propose high-level training at Master and Doctorate level. Via top-quality, disciplinary teaching, they prepare talented, motivated students from a variety of different backgrounds for challenging international careers in a globalized world.

The programs offer unique, interdisciplinary curriculums, intensive training modules based on innovation and employability, as well as new teaching methods which foster collaborative problem solving, project management and scientific dissemination skills. Graduate students are immersed within real-life research projects, thus already providing them with promising job prospects in academia, as well as in rapidly growing industrial sectors that require highly-trained professionals.
