About University of Winchester,...
The staff of the Faculty of Arts share a vision of excellence in teaching, which involves the collective construction of well designed curricula, backed up with varied learning opportunities and appropriate modes of assessment, delivered by active researchers, scholars and professional writers, within an academic environment which encourages all to maximise their potential.
The Faculty of Arts offers a range of flexible postgraduate programmes of study consisting of a system of modules and credits that enable you to gradually complete the programmes, gaining qualifications on the way. One option is to take the whole MA full-time in one year, but you do not need to commit yourself to completing a Masters degree from the outset. You can study at a different pace and for example complete a PGCert. over three semesters.
Research and professional practice are vital to our development, and we are proud that among our staff are academic researchers, consultants, writers, novelists, critics, musicians, dramatists, and screenwriters, all of whom contribute to the growth of knowledge and culture in the world at large.
So if you take a programme offered by the Faculty of Arts you will be taught by well qualified, successful and dedicated professionals. Join us!
