Through continuous investment in research infrastructure and facilities, expanding staffing levels and excellent links with hospitals, education, and universities worldwide, we offer an exceptional student experience while being well positioned to further strengthen our research excellence.

Our state-of-the-art research facilities include a high-density EEG suite, a fully fitted sleep laboratory, a social observation suite, eye-tracking, psychophysiological, tDCS and conditioning labs, a lifespan lab and baby room, plus over 20 all-purpose research rooms.

Our Research

Our research aims to have an impact on the treatment of common physical and mental health conditions. The school's themes have been key to our translation impact, improving outcomes for patients, populations and insights for medical and public health professionals.

Our research aims to understand socially important problems, to inform subsequent policy debate and produce behaviour change. We aim to gain empirical understanding for societal and policy impact in areas ranging from obesity and nutrition, gambling and behavioural addiction, forensic and clinical psychology, neuroimaging and cognition.
