Student experience and employability

There are a range of social and academic events throughout the year to help make the most of your student experience. You’ll have the opportunity to attend a series of Inspiring Leaders talks, career and employability sessions, personal development workshops, and cultural events to give you insight into different career paths and the business environment. In addition, special guest lectures complement the learning and teaching objectives of your degree programme.

The valuable skills and experience you gain as part of extra and co-curricular activities undertaken with your programme are recognised by our Graduate Award scheme. The Graduate Award acknowledges your commitment and achievements and represents the breadth of your skills in a chosen pathway. By completing the Graduate Award, you receive a certificate upon graduation and acknowledgment on your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR) – an extended degree transcript which details both your academic and extracurricular accomplishments.
