Swansea University’s School of Law is located on the coastal Singleton Park Campus, set in beautiful parkland, within easy reach of the city centre and stunning Gower coastline.

The School is at the forefront of legal education, and is home to leading academics in a variety of disciplines, with international reputations for their work. Our research actively influences our teaching, meaning you’ll learn about the most cutting-edge contemporary topics.

Postgraduate Research

Professional Courses

Our Centre for Professional Legal Practice houses four programmes, focused on preparing graduates for the legal profession, including through the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE). The following courses are available:

Sector-Leading Facilities

Our focus is on the provision of research-led and skills-orientated education, which is enhanced by our sector-leading facilities. Our two buildings house our professional Law Clinic space, an authentic courtroom, and vibrant teaching and study spaces, designed to create an excellent student experience.

Employability

You will benefit from having access to a dedicated Employability Team, who have a track-record of getting students into employment. The Team offer support throughout your studies and for 5 years after graduation.

We also arrange a range of law-focused sessions to put you in touch with key employers and allow you to hear from prominent figures in the legal community. These sessions give you valuable insight into the legal sector, and help you focus your ambitions for life after university.

Scholarships

Swansea University offers several postgraduate scholarship opportunities, including the Inspiring Futures Scholarships of £3,000 for postgraduate taught offer holders.
