The MSc Web Development award forms a postgraduate qualification for you to focus specialist study on web development issues such as method and practical implementation aspects. The award covers topics such as: advanced media editing, web standards, multimedia research, mobile web and multimedia, programming for web applications, enterprise database systems, research methods, and the opportunity to select a module choice from a list of available options. In the PgC stage you study four core modules. For the PgD three core topics and an option. You may also go on placement after completing the PgC. At the end of your award you study your dissertation based on a web based topic.
After finishing the award you could be employed as a web page designer, database expert, mobile multimedia developer, multimedia researcher, e-commerce specialist or within general computer science.
